2015 Tour Summary
Lightfoot and his band were road warriors once again in 2015. They played 67 concerts, mainly in the US, playing only 9 Canadian dates. Illness forced several spring concerts to be recheduled later in May and a couple into November. The year began in the US south running from east to west in February, followed by a run through the midwest in May. In June, Lightfoot headed west for California working across the Rocky Mountain states as well. August found him on the US east coast, then later in the month to northern Ontario, including stops he has not played since the 60's. October saw him return to California and Nevada, before winding up the year in the midwest and New England in November. There was 10 casino style concerts, the remaining 57 concerts were two sets with intermission, although at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz in October, only one extended set was played.
There were no new or previously unreleased songs
performed in 2015. Not since the pre-illness days of 2002 has new material
been introduced in concert.
